I just bought a bunch of clocks and this one stumps me when trying to find age and maker. The case is dovetailed on the top, the front is wood pegged and the underside is nail with square looking nails. Not a mark anywhere.
Face is painted and has minutes every 15 minutes that I can see.

The movement, dial, and hands were made in the Black Forest. The case was probably made in the USA, most likely Pennsylvania or somewhere in the mid-Atlantic or Ohio. Looks like Cherry, my guess would be PA. German immigrants brought the movements over here, and then the cases were built here. Probably 2nd quarter to mid 19th century. Your clock has a nice smaller sized case. :thumb:
