Ogee painted glass question.Original or not?

I understand that the original OGEE glass windows were reverse painted. This glass from my Birge and Fuller 1840's OGEE was broken, and I temporarily pieced it together till a replacement can be found. The gold background is painted on the back of the glass. The flowers appear to be on the front of the glass. It actually looks like a sticker upon close inspection, but it is not. When the glass broke, the flower portion didn't hold together. If you look closely, you can see the dark outline of the flower area which is on the front of the glass, as opposed to the gold leaf painted on the back. The glass was thin, wavy, old glass. Thoughts?

My guess is that the glass is probably original to the clock but the original image or maybe even mirror started to fade and/or flake off and a previous owner decided to remove the rest and put on that design, the gold is probably paint or brush on liquid leaf and the flowers are possibly a very old transfer. It looks to me like the bottom portion was left clear so the pendulum could be seen.

An old and wavy piece of glass may be of the period.

Without more information cannot determine if it is actually the original glass in the lower part of the door.

The decoration on the glass is not of the period especially if it is a "sticker" backed with gold paint.
