I just purchased a weight driven clock. The style is ogee. Being new to buying clocks can anyone tell me where the name ogee came from? Thanks in advance for your replys. Joe.

  3. HI, An Ogee is pretty much just a generic term for when a convex and concave curve appear together like on an ogee molding, a federal style desk arch top and even the ‘frame’ appearance around an ‘ogee’ clock.
