Welcome to the forum.
You will find a thread called "Watch Parts and Service Sources" at the top of the "Watch Repair" forum.
Meassure the old mainspring, (Thickness, width, length Type of attachment in barrel), and contact some of the suppliers listed there. My guess is that you will find a replacement mainspring withouth too much effort.
(One example to would be Daves Watch Parts!)
It looks like Jules Borel has a non-original one.Hello I'm looking for a Seiko watch crystal for a 1975 Seiko 4004. The crystal is part # (295W31HN00). Please let me know if you have a new one, or a used one in good condition for sale. My email: Ecfromaz@gmail.com

Sending you a pm if you still are looking for this part.Hello, I am repairing an Elgin B.W. Raymond, size-18, 19-jewel, grade 240 movement that came with some incorrect/missing screws. (the watch belonged to my great grandfather). Dave's WatchParts was able to provide 2 of the 3 that I needed but, so far, I have not been able to locate the last missing screw.
The missing screw is Elgin part #2036 (labeled either for the balance cock or the barrel bridge; these screws are the same).
Hopefully someone here can help. Thank you in advance and happy holidays!
p.s. The screw dimensions are listed below (as measured from another barrel bridge screw in the movement).
overall length = 6.36 mm
head diameter = 2.03 mm
head height = 1.64 mm
thread diameter = 1.05 mm
TPI = 120 (ballpark number!)
Thank you everyone -- I now have the all the screws I need. Hopefully I can be as helpful to one of you in the near future.Sending you a pm if you still are looking for this part.
Thanks TomWilsonpaule. Please be advised, the model 92 was modified many times in its 20 year history. The company changed the overall specs several times. Changes occurred with the lever setting, the mainspring barrel, the regulator, the hairspring stud, the plate screw layout, and most important is that they changed the specs on pivots and arbors.
My main point is that finding replacement parts that fit is extremely difficult.
For your 4th wheel, if you a find one from a watch very near your sn, you have a chance. Good luck
Tom

I have some for the older L &R measures about the same 3 5/8 or 9/16 The 5/8 is 1/16 larger than 9/16.Need one jar for my L&R tempo 400. One of mine has developed a crack. Evidently they are a little smaller that the early jars. The earlier jars are 3 5/8 across the top. The one I need is 3 9/16. Thanks.
