I bought from Black Forest about a year ago the replacement click metal pieces that go up and down in the ratchet on the newer style chainwheels I had a bad one yesterday. So I figured I would try to fix it.
Too the brass collar off (which was one issue) and then had to pry the metal part off that acts as the click. It is seated over the brass hex shaped screw or nut
I found no way to get the newer one of over that hex shaped nut piece. Then the little bushing that holds the wheel together was too loose. Any ideas how to first make the click work and tightens down in there, and what a out the loose bushing that sandwiches it together? The arbor started aliding whe getting it back together as well. Kind of a waste of time.
