    Hi everybody !

My name is Mario and I'm new to this forum. I'm a week-end woodworker so building clock is a new passion for me.

    I'm from Quebec city, Canada.

I already found some useful information on your forum. I'll share with you my clock making experience if it can be useful for some of you.

I began with a small clock made with mahogany few years ago.

After that, I made a barometer with black walnut.

Finally, last week, I finished a Grand-mother clock made with cherry. I'll share with you all construction steps in another thread.

I'm happy to have found this forum !

Hi, Mario, welcome to the message board. Looking forward to your grandmother clock thread:thumb:. We don't have a lot of woodworking threads.

Thanks, Mario. I like the way this clock is built for easy access to the movement for future service. Many homemade clocks I run into in the field are a nightmare to get the movement out for service. Great thread:thumb:
