I haven't been contributing here for a while (health issues, etc.) but I'm still around and have still been picking up odd clocks. This one recently landed here and I can't find a picture of it anywhere to identify it. I don't have Tran's Ingraham book(s) so I'm at a loss. Can anybody tell me what the name of it is?

The date on the front of the movement is 12/28. Needs a good clean, but otherwise looks to be in pretty good shape.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello blueloon,

Your clock looks like the "Premo No. 2", as found on page 238, clock number 729 in Tran Duy Ly's Ingraham Clocks and Watches, Arlington Press. Yours appears to have different incising on the front of the base, but, other than that, it is a match. The clock appeared in a catalogue in 1928. All three Premo's would cost you $28.50, back in the day.
