American New Haven Unusual Pedestal Clock

Hi, I have obtained at local auction a New Haven "beehive" shaped clock on a pedestal that I think is original with the clock. It is over 5 feet high. A few queries....
1. My main problem is that the movement's balance wheel is broken - one end has snapped off. The hairspring is also broken. I cannot find another movement like this (see photo) to obtain the parts I need. Any ideas? Can an expert (not me!) repair a balance wheel? I'm assuming the movement is also New Haven but it has nothing on it to identify it.
2. I have never seen anything like this and can find no trace of another similar clock. Does anyone have any information about this type of pedestal clock? Rarity? Likely age? Anything else?
Thanks.

Looks like a high quality clock! Sorry I can't tell you anything about it.

I did find this ad which gives some detail about it. 8 day jeweled with damascened nickle finish. Might be better to search in the watch repair section.

Welcome to the board, Derek

Yes, broken balances can be repaired, there are people who specialise in doing that kind of work, I have had balances repaired many times. It is a specialist job. Since I don't live in US I cannot recommend anyone to you, but there will be people on here who can and I am sure they will be along soon.

Thanks guys for your help. I was fascinated to see the old ad for these clocks, and will hope I can get it fixed soon. I really like the pedestal style which goes well with the clock.
