    A fusee chain hole punch. Doesn't look like much, but I was thrilled to find it!

    While links are easily machined in todays world, in the early days when done by hand, it must have been miserable.
    It is often reported that fusee links were hand made by children under the age of ten for dexterity and eyesight.

    The following is a copy of some some early day tools and procedures for making fusee chains.
