Spent the day at Bouckville. Made three purchases. Was not able to find much about the New England Watch Co but one site spoke of Swiss fakes. So, is this legit?

Thanks for sharing your find, Snide.
As you continue growing your collection, you'll find that there was a totally unrelated New England Watch Co that evolved from Waterbury Watch Co and was later acquired by Ingersoll. If you search the message board for New England Watch, you'll find some watches for comparison. Some of them are quite attractive. You'll find that most of the earlier ones had duplex escapements.

Actually my collection is shrinking. Most Swiss fakes look like Swiss fakes. This one did not (at least to me) and I wasn’t familiar with the New England Watch Co. Still learning after all these years.

That's one of my favorite parts of this hobby, especially with resources like this message board!
