I'm restoring a seiko 7t62 0ae0 case. The bezel gasket appears to larger than need be. The and the two replacements I bought and mangled appear to be same. Is there some trick to replacing the bezel. I'm new to sieko. Please help.

Michael. I think I've seen where the gasket has a bevel, and needs to be properly indexed in order to not have it get mangled. Not sure why your replacements are larger than you need though. I'll dig through some of my Seiko tech sheets to see if I can find anything. If you don't hear back from me in a couple of days...that'll mean I didn't find anything.

Well,...I couldn't find any service sheets that addressed this. Maybe send a few photos to the supplier you are buying the gasket from,... with the case numbers, and some measurements of the track where the gasket sits ??
