I just bought this nice swiss? movement and I am trying to decipher a symbol on it. It is a private label A Stowell pocket watch movement. It has several high end features like wolf tooth winding and snap on dial. It has what looks like a standing dragon between the bridges. Anyone know what this is or who made it?

Yep, that is it. I haven't ever seen a CH Meylan like this before. Interesting.

Meylan has the lion facing in one direction, Badollet in the other. Interestingly, Leonville used movements of the SAME design (with a snail regulator) sourced from BOTH firms.
