Can someone help me figure out when this clock was made or what it might be worth? I found this at a secondhand store. The face reads "Verichron" "Westminster Chime" "Made in USA". It has three key holes. the back is brass, Franz Hermle and says Made in West Germany, jewel 0. It has a sticker that says "Harris and Mallow products inspected by 100"

I have scoured the internet and can't find any clock just like it! I am certain I've found something great, I just need to know more info! Can anyone help me?

Hello and welcome here.
First off top of page it says no values.
Its only really worth what someone will pay for it.
You have a Hermle movement with westminster chimes.
I don,t think there is anything that rare about your clock.
Looks good and enjoy it.

Well I am aware that it isn't rare. It was probably mass produced.

I would just like to know an approximate year then.

Where can I go to find values? I understand that it is only worth what someone will pay for it, but someone paid something for it when it was new, and that's what I was hoping someone might be able to help me with.

This statement you made made me think, you thought it was something quite special.
Ebay is a good place to look for values on clocks.
As for year if you can give all numbers off the movement there is a date code on it.
I dont know what these sold for in their time, maybe made in the 1960,s or a little later.

lol! I meant that I have scoured and couldn't find any information on it. My bad. And I do think it's great, it's my first key wound clock. :p

341-020 is what it says on the movement.

Unfortunately I can't find one on Ebay, I already checked :(

Usually a number like for example a movement i have here has 81 over the trademark stamped on the plate. Understand what you meant now about could not find another like it.
the 340-020 is a popular movement, many were made. A picture of the movement in your clock may help date it.

Your clock is from the 1950's-1960's. Nice clock....not particularly valuable but a pleasant sounding chime and reliable runner.

Congrats on your clock.

Jay, the date code on the movement says 1980.
Seresutochan, Hermle is the largest remaining German company making movements that are purchased by companies to install in their cases. There are still many small manufacturers of clocks using their movements.
Your clock is in the style of the schoolhouse regulator, first made in the 1800's.

Harold,
Thanks for the correction. I missed the date code?

Whoops!

Didn’t realize age of original post.

I removed my post as irrelevant.
