• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

I bought this clock at an estate auction. The label on the back is mostly missing and what is left is unreadable. There are no markings on the clock to help me identify who made it. I have searched through google images and have not been able to find one that looks like it. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! Could you remove the bell? There could be a maker's mark under there.

I removed the bell and was unable to locate any marks. I attached a picture without the bell. 6.jpg

This appears to be the Waterbury Dorena. Tran Duy Ly's book on Waterbury clocks (arlingtonbooks.com) shows it twice, once in vol. 1 from the 1906 catalogue, and once in vol. 2 from the 1905 catalogue.

Not yours specifically, but since the model appeared in the 1905 and 1906 catalogues, somewhere between 1900 and 1910 would be close, I think.
