I’m in the process of build a large arts and crafts (Stickley style) grandfather clock that is 86”tall (220cm) with a large dial of 22” (55 cm). I would like to use either a new Keiniger movement (if can find one now with a 94 or 104 cm pendulum) or Hermle. I’ve been told none of the standard grandfather movements will operate hands larger than 5” (13cm), I assume due to torque limitations. But, I know that Stickley currently uses a Keiniger PS movement (I think PS022) but uses large balanced hands approximately 11” minute and 8” hour hands (28 cm/20cm) so they must work.

So where I could use help:

Will a new Keiniger or Hermle movement drive these large hands?
Where can I get that size of either off the shelf or custom made balanced hands (mounting hole 2.2mm square and 4.5 mm round for minute and hour respectively).

I’ve attached a photo of the style for reference and what Stickley uses.
