NAWCC LAUNCHES NAWCC E-NEWS TO KEEP MEMBERS MORE INFORMED

Columbia, PA: A new tool is being introduced to keep NAWCC members informed of significant activities taking with the NAWCC. An e-mailed newsletter of press releases, program launches, and other news of interest will be sent to members who have provided an email address to headquarters as of July 10, 2003. Members who have not provided an up-to-date email address will be able to subscribe to this free service by visiting the NAWCC website at www.nawcc.org and clicking on NAWCC e-News.

Since NAWCC e-News will contain public information, it will also be available to non-members, such as educators, editors, tour planners, etc., who are interested in the activities of the NAWCC and/or the National Watch & Clock Museum (NWCM).

Judy Draucker, NAWCC President commented, "We are excited to introduce a tool that enables proactive communication to members and chapters. Improved communication is one of our key priorities as we work to enhance our services to the membership and the public."

"So far we have email addresses for about half of our membership. Since we want everyone to be informed, we will continue to issue press releases and other information to NAWCC News and similar outlets for public posting. We hope more people will sign up for this newsletter by visiting www.nawcc.org. Members who take advantage of this service will be more aware of what's going on," commented Jim Bland, Director of Marketing.

NAWCC e-News gives recipients the ability to forward the information to an interested friend, unsubscribe, and even change an email address. NAWCC e-News will also include links to the NAWCC web site as well as to the library, museum, school, and pressroom. Additional links will be provided to quickly access on-line horology books, logo apparel, and time related gift items offered through the Museum gift shop Yours, Mine, and Hours.
