    Hi to you all!

does anyone recognize the manufacture of this mysterious clock? it looks like Junghans Mystery but i don't know. Its very nice statue with good manufacture details and the clock seems to match to the Junghans model.

We know all the different Junghans-Mysterieuse Junghans ever made, but not this model. And we saw lot´s of China-fakes of Junghans-Mysterieuse in the last years.

So sorry I am convinced this is also a China-fake.

Sorry to say I think I agree with Chronologiker. I have never seen the name of the sculptor (G. Omerth) written like this. Go to works known to be by him and you will see the difference, or Google copies of his signature.

The rock on which the figure is standing looks like resin, and the coloring on the figures looks very odd to me.

BUT, if it is repro, why bother to make a dedication plaque dated 7th August 1922 from the Conseil Municipal of a tiny and obscure town, Audrauicq, in the extreme north of France??

So I am now wondering again.

Dial is enameled and frontal glass i real glass made. The movement seems to be junghans, don't seem to be a china-fake, the manufacture has something that convince me of that even if i've never seen this statue on junghans production...

Hi, here are the picture of the statue dated 1922: Colors are better, and you can see in mine the paint on the basement is missing... (my apologies for the not technical english). I decided to post them too in order to let you better match any differences, its obvious they are the comes from the same production, isn't it? Look at the clock dial, this cannot be a fake, its a Junghans one for sure. From those consideration i think may be the same for mine. I made an ice about it. From conservation and paint status i think mine is earlier than this (not too much) and it matches withe production of the clock dial...

I made a consideration on both productions. From conservation and paint status i think mine is earlier than the one of the latest pictures i posted (not too much) and it matches withe production of the clock dial that from the style seems to be Junghans, but the logo is missing and i have no trace of this version on the web... Look at the particular of jewel bar where a jewel is missing. It seems like original Junghans jeweled bar. This picture was taken from original "Arcano" (Italian version of Diana). May be the manufacturing of the bar was common on early '900 but i only suppose.

Author of the sculpture was Georges Omerth. Clock, named "Indiscretion" was produced in period 1910 - 1914 for French market (see base). Originally clock had different, unique pendulum shape. Photos from KMZiZ Forum, colleague kobas.

I frankly admit that I´m not an expert of these special clocks, but I´ve seen a couple of them, both originals and repros.Upto now I ´ve never seen a repro with a barreled mainspring, correct me if I´m wrong; I´m still convinced this is an original, allthough unmarked.Let´s see where the discussion goes!

Yes, in that period Junghans produced 4 kind of pendulum; the second from the left seems to be from the first productions. The last two on the right are rare. The first one was most produced with a lot of dial variations but same shape
