I was in desperate straits, my Washing Machine had broken down; being in a very broke state (because of Pocket Watch purchases) I thought where to get the money from for a new one? Then it came to me; borrow AU$200.00 from my mate and go to the local Tavern and play the Pokies. In a slightly inebriated state I got home with over AU$750.00. I went next day to a store owned by a friend and after a bit of haggling I paid AU$500.00 for a new one with free delivery; she-it is now in my laundry. When I was in need of a new Airconditioner a while back, I did the same thing. Regards Ray

I should add that I have all the good or bad habits (depends on how you look at it) of a normal Darwin male; Woman, Booze and Gambling; no illicit drugs. Regards Ray

Obviously no woman got involved since you had money when you came home. Think I would have bought more pocket watches and washed my clothes in the sink.

Hey! There's a pair of those white things in the basement of my house, so one is for washing stuff. Is the other for some related purpose I wonder?

And can I wash engine parts in there?

    Or the dog?

Darn Sheila has been holding back on me, I wonder what other useful toys she's been hiding!

Hi, I used my new washing yesterday and realized that there are 140 different settings to wash Clothes; a long way from my old Twin Tub with Wash and Spin. Regards Ray
