NATIONAL WATCH & CLOCK MUSEUM OFFERS FREE ADMISSION TO MILITARY FAMILIES YEAR ROUND

COLUMBIA, PA: This year the NAWCC National Watch & Clock Museum is expanding its Blue Star summer program to offer free, year-round admission for the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including the National Guard and Reserve. Each summer since 2010, the Blue Star Families organization promotes free museum admission events with museums across America under the Blue Star Museum program, supported by the NEA and the Department of Defense.

Join us on a journey through time at the National Watch & Clock Museum located in historic Columbia, PA. Experience a fun and fascinating exploration into the world of timekeeping illustrated by multiple exhibits, special presentations, and over 12,000 treasures of time – from Stonehenge and early sundials to today’s most modern technology.

Take your children on a scavenger hunt through the Museum. See the monumental Engle clock run. Visit the WWI and WWII watches in the wristwatch and Hamilton galleries. Browse through the Library & Research Center’s collection of books about military timepieces. Find out the history of the family clock that you inherited.

We share the Stories of Time!

Funding for the Blue Star Museum program expansion is provided by a grant from the Pryor & Arlene Neuber Charitable Trust through the PNC Charitable Trusts Grant Review Committee.
