COLUMBIA, PA: Last November more than 160 NAWCC members, staff, friends, and supporters gathered to celebrate the Watch & Clock Museum's 40th Anniversary. The Museum, located in Columbia, PA, is the largest and most comprehensive horological collection in North America, with more than 13,000 clocks, watches, and timepiece-related items. Attendees, including representatives from modern watch brands RGM Watch Co. and F.P. Journe, helped the Museum mark this milestone.

A 40th Anniversary commemorative booklet will soon be available from the NAWCC, Inc. as the Museum continues to celebrate its 40th year. The 44-page booklet provides an overview of the Museum's collection with beautiful photography and helpful information. From sun dials to monumental clocks to wrist watches, the booklet reflects how the Museum tells the story of the many intriguing methods of timekeeping used throughout human history.

The softcover booklet will be available for sale through the NAWCC Gift Shop (; 717-684-8261 ext. 211) for $7.99 plus shipping and handling. It is in full color and measures 7 1/2" × 7 1/2".

"We were very thankful to our sponsors for helping make the November celebration such a success," said Noel Poirier, Museum Director. "We are also thankful that their support helped to create this permanent reminder of an important moment in our history."

Sponsors of the National Watch & Clock Museum 40th Anniversary are:

    * F.P. Journe, RGM Watch Co., and Hamilton International

    * YYCS Technical Architects and International Society of Talking Clocks.
