Movement wear question

I had a modern 1 day Herr here this week. Wasn't over oiled, too dirty etc. I noticed right away chain wheel bushing wear. Then as I looked closer almost every hole had wear except the front gathering pallet hole. It took 13 bushings and has been running like a champ since. My question is what would cause this sort of wear? Usually a cuckoo movement will have the 2nd and maybe third wheels in a bad enough case on a one day. I couldn't think of how it wore in every hole.

Wear is not consistent and cannot be calculated to a T. It can be random as a slot machine.
If wear could be calculated then clock repairs would be so much easier, if one could anticipate what is worn and how severely every time.

I understand that. It's odd to have a one day with almost every hole loose.
