Movement Type?

I just inherited this 1967 Kuempel Grandfather Clock. From my understanding the clock and moon dial have not worked correctly for a few years. I would like to get this working. I have never owned or worked on a grandfather clock before. Can someone help me identify this movement? I have researched and the only one I am finding with a “96” is the Jauch 96, which it is not.

On the back plate there is some writing that I could not read - take a look at it.

Hopefully someone will be able to identify the movement.

I am not sure how you dated the clock to 1967 unless you have a receipt or something is written on the case.

Andy,
I do have the paperwork for the clock, just nothing on the movement. The only writing on the back of the movement is “96”, “Made in Germany”, “The Kuempel Chime Clock Co”

It's easy to access these for wear. Just take the right weight off and wiggle that exterior chime sequence disk, at the upper right corner, in your third photo. If it wiggles, the clock will need at least some bushing work. No wiggle, there's a chance you may not need much work. Willie X
