Can anyone ID this movement? I see it on FB Marketplace. I have never seen this before. I would guess a Terry. Unfortunately it looks very rusty.

Thanks Dick C. I believe that is it. Should I go get it for $25 in its poor condition?

$25 today is lunch at a fast food joint.
I say rescue it.
The alternative is, it may get tossed.

My dad had a Silas B. Terry in his shop once when I was a kid. That is why it looked familiar. I will inquire about it.

I like the way you think, Joe. That might explain why I'm up to my eyeballs in castoff and orphan clocks.

Picked up the Silas B. Terry movement. It is pretty sad with the rust and missing verge and broken verge bridge. I think it can be saved with an electrolysis for the rust. I don't know what electrolysis does to brass though. Anyone have an S. B. Terry case?
