Quick question for anyone that can help. I have a silver Movado pocket watch that looks exactly like an Ermeto. The difference is that it does not say Ermeto on the front. It's stamped with Hodgson Kennard & Co. on the face. Also, the Ermeto I've seen in pictures do not have small handles oon the side of the case, and mine does. What exactly do I have??

Thanks in advance

most movado "purse watches" do not say ermeto on them.

sounds like a wonderful watch.

any other engraving such as dates or names?

These were made in a huge variety of styles, many art deco ones are highly sought after.

Some had leather "skins".

They were made in nickel, sterling, and solid gold. Mini sizes are also desirable.

A pic of front and back would be nice.

The "handles" are of interest..... again a pic would be great....

Thanks for the info Jeff! Were the "handles" used to keep the leather skin on?? Does the fact that it was made for Hodgson Kennard & Co. make it any more collectible??
