I am guessing this would date to around 1890ish, but know nothing about watches like these. I would appreciate any information on country of origin, age, likely maker and a general value in its current condition. And also, what effect rebluing the case might do to that value. Thanks!

It is in working order and all quick set functions work on the dial.

I am guessing and only because no one else has tried. I have seen a lot of these and not paid much attention to them. My guess is that it might sell for $500. I doubt reblueing woudl make enough difference in value and might be viewed with hostility by purists.

It is Swiss adn late 1800's is as good an estimate as mine.
