Recently I traded for a possible Becker or Becker style T&S movement. It has maintaining power, adjustable pallets, dead beat escapement, and a seconds bit. True to form I had recently gotten rid of a Becker case, so what to do? I had a Korean case-solid wood, allbeit Philippine Mahogany with a sorta Piecrust bezel. Not a bad looking clock, just a crappy movement. I found that the movement and a pendulum(was with the movement) might fit the case. Well, one thing led to another, found remains of another Vienna case, part of a broken dining room chair, and used a back from a Boardman column and splat-veneered it with some what appears to be spalted and figured Mahogany and then did some string inlay. It now kinda looks like a Biedermeier style. Hope you enjoy.
