One of the female statues on my Rotterdam longcase clock is missing her arm. Forum member Tom Glebas saw this and contacted me and offering to cut a new arm for her! What a nice gesture. Today Tom send me the pictures of what he accomplished so far. I was much thrilled when I saw the result. Tom cut it just from pictures and a video I send him. It will be shipped shortly from now and then I can give her the arm she so much needs!
What a nice place here to meet so friendly people!

Very nice work and very friendly of him! If you only sent him pictures, what is the darker comparison he holds the arm to?

Thank you for the nice compliments. I sure hope it fits and is a good match to its mate. I'm anxious to see the reunion (of sorts). And I'll be very glad to see such a beautiful clock complete again.

Thanks Nick. It's nice to be acknowledged. Peter is supposed to have received it today, so we'll see how well it turned out.
