Is there something like a hidden post in the following area that keeps the main screen from showing that all posts have been read?:
[Clock Repair, Restoration, & Design] / [Clock Repair Articles]
I'd just accept that, as a folder, it won't be subject to clearing its 'unread' flag using [FORUMS] / [Mark Forums Read] from the main menu but, that can't be it because the folder at:
    [Clocks] / [Clock Articles]
    clears its flag, just fine.

Articles are in the Encyclopedia and follow slightly different rules than the forums do. The appearance of them in the forums uses a mechanism to help highlight that content that the developers call "integration." It is difficult to sort out the levels of display in the forums and categories and I have not been able to make them work smoothly.

Articles can have multiple authors for the same document and have comments as well as the main content. It functions pretty much the same as Wikipedia except for the con-existence and integration with the forums.
