    Hi,

I'll be staying in London for the coming week.
Are there any recomendations for shops that specialize in chronometers or even second hand fine watches ?

    Thanks

Go to Frodshams-you will find them on the net. They are the best to advise you. Ring and make an appointment, then they will make time for you. Regards Allan

If you are there on Saturday go to Portobello Market. There are a number of watch dealers set up there. There are also some good clock shops. I have never been to the Silver Vaults, but I understand that Johnny Wachsman has a shop there. Bettina Atlam has a shop near the center of the Portobello market area and Hubert has a shop on the corner near the main crossroad. There are at least 10 others usually set up.
