    Tall case clock, c. 1720-1730, Thomas Baker. 30-hour plate-frame brass movement with single hand, rack and snail strike mechanism with rack pivoted between the plates, 10-inch square composite brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed Thos. Baker Portsmouth, plain matted center, twin cherubs with crown spandrels (one replaced of a different pattern). Oak case with pine backboard, dentil molding around top of cornice, flat top waist door with half-round beaded molding, front pillars attached to hood door.
