I have some old clocks in storage that belonged to my parents. I have no idea what they are, only that they were acquired in the 50s of 60s, possibly in Europe. I am at a loss as to what to do with them. Also have a non-working grandfather type. Thanks very much for your time

You have some nice (but common) old German clocks there. I hope you will have them repaired and enjoy them yourself. Or, sell/give them to someone who will do so.

I am not sure they are all German, I think that at least one of them may be French. To tell you anything very much we really need to see photos of the movements, particularly the back plates. There may be maker's marks or names visible.

As has been said, they are nice clocks and well worth putting in order.

I agree with JTD one of those looks very French.

If you are talking about the upside down one, it certainly has a French influenced dial. The movement will tell the story on that one. Willie X

Ummm....irk. I don't remember. I guess it's time to make a trek to the storage unit. I will take some time to go over and check them out again. I'll also see about taking pictures of the movements.

I'd really like to pass these along to someone who will appreciate them. Any thoughts on that? Thanks for your advice.
