HI I picked up an Alsta watch in working condition but without a stem. Based on my limited knowledge and research the movement appears to be an Unichron UT37 (automatic w/date). "UT 37" is engraved on the rotor and "25" below the balance wheel. Pictures attached.

Not sure where I might find a stem to fit this. Again based on a few posts on other sites I understand this movement may accept parts from other brands. (ETA?)

As always, any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Peter

Thank you. I think I saw it might have been originally based on a Seiko. This is great info. Too bad I recently sold a few old Seiko's. Bad timing on my part. Again thanks for the info!

No problem! When you start wearing that watch, the compliments are going to come - that blue really pops!
