"Diana" is a much used brand name - according to Mikrolisk it was registered by 8 different companies in Switzerland, Germany and USA in the late 19th and first half of the 20th centuries. Go to mikrolisk.de, enter "diana" in the search box and hit the enter button.

One of those companies was Schwob Freres, and they would get my vote for this watch if only because they were a prolific maker who did export to the UK and USA. Also your watch looks like a mass-produced model, and is cased in a low-grade (80%) silver case. The AR/SF markings on the regulator demonstrate that the watch was made in Switzerland for export to English speaking countries.

Most likely one of those obscure Swiss watch brands or a contract brand (was made by a company that didn't necessarily produce watches but outsourced their work to watch factories).

    Looks good for its age.

The case has a Swiss Hallmark, the grouse, which was used from 1882 to 1934
