I have a friend who is wanting to expand his work from clocks to watches. Can any of you suggest some good books that might help him down this road. He is fairly experienced with clocks but watches are new to him and I have never worked on watches.

    Thanks

Start with "Watch Repairing as a hobby" by D.W..Fletcher for a beginning prep, and then go to Henry B. Fried's "The Watch Repairer's Manual" or Donald DeCarle's "Practical Watch Repairing". Those will keep you busy and answer most questions.

There is also tons of good info free on the internet, and this website is a great place to learn as well.
