I have stripped the wife’s Koma and have found that someone had sheared one of the studs of and the foot was only held on by a couple of threads, I could not get the broken bit out so had to drill and tap it and make a new stud, and the stud was smaller one end than the other as can be seen by the picture, but the bit I learned was that it was metric thread, I thought from early 1900’s they changed to BA but at some stage at least some of the manufacturers changed to metric thread, anyway case all cleaned and lacquered and movement cleaned, pivots polished, bushes pegged out , ready to be reassembled .( but part time work has got in the way ).
PS nothing on the case has been lined up yet
