Hi all, I wanted to see if someone could help me. Looking at this site, which is amazing, and comparing my pic versus the one on the site for the 47. I believe they are the same but when I happen to look at other, so called 47 pics online, they are different. Do I have a 47 or 48? It is only inscribed with a “4”. http://ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?1k&ranfft&0&2uswk

That’s what I thought but when I was trying to track down some parts on eBay, I came across a listing saying it was a 47. Im wondering if the balance would be the same?

On Ranfft's page:
"From the Landeron 47 to the 48 there was a floating transition. Many parts were modified, but except the minute-recorder jumper all are interchangable. Samples with all features of the Landeron 47 (like the examples) are pretty rare, and therefore can be dated to the first production year."

So as I'm trying to understand all these chronograph movments, not all of the 47s had a pusher on the crown, correct? Mine does not.

The 47 as original did not live very long and parts were interchangeable. Ranfft said that "Samples with all features of the Landeron 47 (like the examples) are pretty rare, and therefore can be dated to the first production year."
Thank you. Just wanted to make sure I understood correctly. The only other L47 I've seen had the center pusher. I appreciate your patience with me.
