Hi everyone: Sorry to keep bothering you, but I need some help in identifying a Ladies Pocket that I purchased in early 1970 while stationed in England. Please provide any information, age .etc.

Thanks,
Jim Brezinski

We need a close view of the movement to tell you much but from what I can see I date this to about 1850 based on the layout and the 800 refers to the case material as 80% silver

The new pictures help some.

The watch is Swiss and it has a cylinder escapement. This is common in lower end ladies watches. This is a very modest watch based on a very common movement type. In its day is was reliable and maintainable with a very well set up repair system, now long gone.
