so on this Kundo Anniversary Clock my neighbor has, it runs for a few seconds, then the pendulum slows down, then stops completely. The clock was wound, then set for years, not working. I let the main spring down, incase it had been over wound, does not seem to have the main spring broke when winding back up, but have not taken main spring off to look inside yet, wound it back up to make sure of not being over wound. I need help trouble shooting the possible problems, cause I have not yet bought the book on Anniversary Clocks thought maybe help here, until I get the book Thanks

Welcome to the message board! Maybe a moderator can move your question to a separate post so we can better keep track of how it goes.

More than likely the issue is the clock is not in beat. In order to take advantage of the limited power to run the clock, the impulses from the suspension spring fork must result in equal swings to the left and to the right. Here's a general article on setting the beat:

Each clock has a special way of doing that. Can you show pictures of the clock including the back side?

Common problem out of beat, and most likely due for a proper clean and oil.
