So I am having trouble with this regulator clock with a korean movement in it. I have included a link to the video i took of it. Im having trouble with the 30 min strike. The warning starts, it looks like it is going to strike but it is stopped by the locking lever. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this?

    Thanks

I'm not seeing your video but if it isn't a lift issue or a sticky rack, it would be a synchronising issue with the gathering pallet.

Now that I have seen the video, it all seems to be working. There seems to be a long delay on the hammer lever action.

It's not working correct on the 1/2 hour strike as it doesn't strike

Can you post a pic of the complete movement so we can see all the levers etc.

You need to have a look at the gong rod and track it back to the other end. It seems to function well on multiple strikes but not on single ones. It doesn't seem to be getting enough impulse off a single lift.

That bottom tooth on the rack should be shorter than the others. Yours looks a bit too long, and the rack can't drop past it for the 1/2 hour strike. It should not affect the 1:00 strike on the hour.

Figured it out had to move the star wheel. The only other problem is from hour 9 to 11 it is short one strike and this is why, the rack hook is falling onto the tooth for those hours and not in the middle of the tooth. From hours 12 to 8 it falls inbetween so how do I get hours 9 to 11 to do the same?

You will probably have to raise the snail and turn it one tooth clockwise.
