• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

This is from a Kieninger chimer. The owner doesn't think it should strike 13 times every hour :)
What should it have that it's missing?

Well, I guess there is a pin missing that is supposed to fall on the snail. Leave it as is, it makes the clock an interesting conversation piece.

:D Well, he doesn't seem too anxious to talk about leaving it as is. What kind of pin? Anyone have a pic?

Yeah, I understand what it needs, but needed a picture of what it should look like. Ironically, I found another one like it in my queue, and used that to construct a repair. Basically it's just a pin, affixed to the spring part of the tail and extending down through the hole in the other part.
