• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

6 bucks from Goodwill. A few jewels in the movement. No marks on the movement's backside..... I did not pull it to take a gander at the front.

Looks like a well made clock, i know very little about the maker. It,s quite a fancy clock.

Very nice clock with an obviously heavy and fancy case. It must have cost a small fortune when new. I like an 8 day alarm clock; have one also; one of my favorites although another brand. Winding every week is easy to live with, much better than winding every day and it seems to add value to the clock. Good catch at a good price!

The Josef Kaiser Co. emerged from Uhrenfabrik Villingen in 1914 and they
were around until 1975.
Factories were in Villingen, Furtwangen and three other places.

Thank you, Cheezhead :thumb: I Like it because it is very quiet...... What good is a clock that it supposed to wake you up at a specific time, if it's ticking is so loud that you can't get to sleep?

ETA: Credit goes to my wife for the find. She knew to open the rear access to look for a battery before snatching it up.
