I picked up this press a few weeks ago. Has a label on signed 'K W Muller - Lubeck' who I presume went on to become simply 'KWM' . Not sure of date but given the wooden (rather than plastic) handle and wooden base perhaps pre WW2? The insert in the end of the arm is hard rubber and I guess it had a number of different dies that would locate in the support block to allow for crystal or case back fitting. It need the various screws replacing as it wasn't held together very securely, with a mish-mash of odd/bent screws. The suppot block is cracked through and I may yet also glue that back together. But I have made up an adapter to take the punches and dies I use to make pair case buttons and hoping this will allow me to 'press' rather than 'punch' them.

Ah! Very nice. Thank you for showing that, Graham

Case construction is very interesting and I like to see how things are made and repaired. Thanks again!
