I have a Junghans wall clock with an intermittant problem. It will run for several days with no problem, but every so often, it stops. Every time it stops, it stops at the top of the hour. I'm wondering if there's an issue with the lifting arm locking. I can't seem to see the issue at the moment. Seems as though it should be more constant. Ideas? Thanks, Chris

Eight day clock? Does it do this during the first three days of fully wound? Only during the last three? Can you restart the clock by simply restarting the pendulum? Do you feel escessive resistance to movement of minute hand when manually advancing it? Have you noted the position of the levers, warning pin, etc. at stoppage? These are all clues and there are more..
