I have two of their clocks. Do I need this for a secret task?
It looks a lot like a ratchet with the ratcheting pawl missing. It is probably a winder.
Guess I can live without then. Thanks
With the tool you can adjust a balance screw (alarm clocks, clocks) without disassembling.
Do you have a pic? The only ones I can find are for the screws loose in front of the clock. You were, kidding right?
No, praezis is not kidding. I believe he has answered your question. Odd tool. I have not seen one before this entry.
Ok thanks. Thought maybe you guys were sending me out for a yard of flight line.
Could you spare a foot or so when you find it-there is a fellow here who needs an adventure.
Sceptics forced me to do what I wanted to avoid: search through my library and make a scan.
I found this in a Jendritzki book from 1950. In German however
Caption: "Balance screws under the dial".
Nicely done, Herr praezis.
I don’t think I would ever use it but it is available on a certain bay site.
