Hi, I have recently inherited this clock which has been in the family for many years. It has never worked as far as I can remember. I took it to a clock shop where it was repaired and polished up and is running fine. I was told it was a Junghans, however, it has none of the distinguishing marks of a Junghans. The clock repair guy could not help me in its positive identification and said there were no "marks" on the inside but said he didn't really look for any either. The only marks I can see are the two arrows on the back plate and the number 214 on the "strike plate" off to the bottom left. I paid $800 to get this clock repaired and would really like to know if it is genuine or a knockoff. Hoping somebody can help. Thank You.
