A quick note for Andrew, my Johnson #7771 has a confirmed Massey II (It has yet to be
entered into Oliver's data base, but perhaps some day).

My only Massey V is circa 1821, on a 9J (Shown previously).

Keith's No. 7771 was included in the earliest draft of the database which I still have (February 2016) and has been listed ever since, with the escapement type correctly identified. Keith has been one of my most constant and prolific suppliers of Johnson data, and it would have been a very poor show on my part if I had failed to use the details of this important watch, but I am guiltless of that sin at least.
