JKS Tall Clock

There isn't much info on JKS clocks or the company. This one has resounding E & P double gong.

The gong is from the firm of Etzold & Popitz, a German retailer.

"JKS" could be the TM of Josef Koepfer & Soehne of Furtwangen, but I do not believe that they manufactured clocks. I could be wrong on this point. However, I cannot see any marks on the movement or the dial.

Can you provide better pictures of the "JKS"?

This one isn't marked but I can tell from the hands and the piece that holds the shaft in.

The movement JKS Roundhead / also Mauthe.

Yes, that's the logo of Josef Köpfer & Söhne. They did manufacture some clocks, but they also bought in a lot of movements and cased them. So this one is a Mauthe movement, as Tatyana says, with an Etzold & Popitz gong, the whole thing cased and sold by Köpfer.
