• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Just picked up this Waterbury #7. I posted it with questions in the clock repair section but thought I would post it here too. Ready to hang up after waxing the case then waiting for a friend (clock guy) to clean/oil up the movement.

So the pictures are on my dining room table.

Love these large Waterbury regulators, I have a #7 with a mercury pendulum -it is the clock pictured in Tran Duy Ly's Waterbury book.
Sound like yours is famous Jack and will go down in history, we are lucky guys.

I'm ready to sell the rest of my clocks, this is the only one I need. :)

That is a gorgeous clock! I love the bright, warm finish beyond the obvious appeal of the elegant imposing case, regal pendulum and dial. Wish I had a clock like that!

Good old Johnson's paste wax, a paint brush to get it in the all crevices and a shoe brush from my old army days to help with the polishing.

and thanks for the compliment Friendofclocks.
