Hello all,
I was wondering if you could help me identify the movement from this James Mix Albany Ny pocket watch?
Thanks for your time.

Welcome to our forum.

A specific ID is long shot. The watch is a good grade but very generic Geneva Bar movement. It has full jeweling for the period which is 1850 to 1870. Lotso os these were made and finished by small operators for US jewelers.

Albany had some very good watch makers then but this is a solidly Swiss.

The case is probably US made but we need to see the marks to determine this, They would be on the inner covers.

With basic case and service the watch should run reliably for another 150 years.

Thanks for the info on this watch.
There are no markings on the case other than the case number.
