While I have a rack lever with 15 s subdial since long, one with 60 s subdial was still missing in my collection. Now I have one.

Strange watch you have there Bernard, Robert Roskell Rack levers usually do not have jewels, and when they are, they are usually asked for by the sponsor or the one that wanted to buy the watch. On page 55 of the Roskell file below, you will find a Roskell-signed watch with the cock 99% the same as that liver bird on yours. No jewels of course. This watch has no serial number, probably because it was sent to America, where it received its 18K case. (See Photographs) The serial number on yours will give you the date.

Hi Allan,

The serial number (37621) would correspond with watches in the list hallmarked about 1824, but the hallmark in my watch is 1815. And I am quite sure that it is not a recase. Strange indeed.
